NBX designs complete landscape plans for Roanoke Rapids, NC properties, mapping out plant placement, hardscape zones, and phasing so the build matches the vision from day one.
Landscape design is the planning stage that happens before any digging, planting, or hardscaping begins. It is where we figure out what actually belongs on your property in Roanoke Rapids, NC, where it should go, and in what order it should be built. Skipping this step is the most common reason landscaping projects end up looking disjointed or fighting against drainage and sun exposure they were never designed around.
Our design process starts with a detailed site visit. We measure the property, note where sun and shade fall through the day, check existing drainage, and walk through how you actually use each part of the yard. From there we put together a written plan that lays out planting zones, pathways, seating areas, and any structural elements like walls or lighting, all positioned to work with the property's natural conditions rather than against them.
Every design includes a plant and material palette chosen specifically for Roanoke Rapids, NC's climate, so the landscape you approve on paper is realistic to maintain once it is installed. We also build the plan in phases when budget calls for it, so you can install the core structure now and add planting beds or hardscape features in a later season without the design feeling patched together.
Because our design and installation teams work under one company, the plan we hand you is grounded in what can actually be built well, not a drawing made disconnected from execution. If you already have a landscaping crew, we can also deliver a standalone design package for them to follow.
The result is a yard that reads as one coherent space rather than a collection of separate decisions made over time, with every element placed for a reason you can explain.
